So I had this interesting dream last week that left me in the morning with a mixed feeling of sadness and happiness,I had a near death experience in my dream and was one of the strangest I ever had at least for the emotions felt during and after the dream.
That I had it I’m not surprise, I do a lot of research regarding near death experiences and often talk to doctors and nurses to know if they had patients experiencing it,some did have it others not,I even got the chance to meet someone that told me about his own near death experience,I’m not surprise I dreamed it.
Last week I think was tuesday or wednesday I went back home exhausted after a long day sightseeing Bangkok,as soon I got on the bed all I wanted was to sleep and after few second I passed out, that’s where everything started.
I died and found myself outside my body feeling no pain,no suffering,I was out of it but the sensations was like when alive I couldn’t understand how could be possible,a woman showed up explaining me that I was dead and when we die isn’t much different then when we are alive except that we don’t have a body anymore,I couldn’t believe it,I felt more alive then ever and I could see, hear all the people in the street,I saw people queuing for a train ticket so I got close to one of them a tall bold man,I touched his shoulder and told him that it would take a while to reach the counter but he couldn’t hear me,he couldn’t feel my hand touching his shoulder, the woman that I think was a sort of guide for me to go trough the transition between life and death said,I told you they can’t see or hear you,you are dead.
Next scene I found my self seating on a flight of steps crying, sad and feeling lost I asked how come If I was dead I could feel emotions like sadness, she told me to don’t be worry it would fade away,is normal to have some emotions left over when we just died,in distance I could see one of my old customers,in life I worked as barista, instinctively I called him, Gabriel!!! Gabriel!!! he looked at me surprised and so did I,how come he could hear me,the woman told me he died as well,I asked him when happened? Long time ago he replied, confused I wondered how could be possible, only a week before he was at my cafe’ and we talked,I asked, when you used to come at my shop you were already dead? yes he said,so’ this mean that when we had our conversations no one could see you, everyone just saw me talking to myself,he smiled and confirmed it.
Then the scenario changed again and Gabriel and me were at train station buying tickets and waiting for the train to come, that’s when I woke up and felt this strong mixed emotions of sadness and happiness, straight away went on internet to find the spiritual meaning of the dream I just had, most of the explanations was that I’m going trough a spiritual transformation where I’m leaving behind the old way to act and behave to replace it with a new one,I contacted a friend back to London that is tarot reader and fortuneteller and confirmed what many websites said,I spoke with my Mum and she told me that in Italian tradition dreaming of our death means I’m gonna have a long life.
That dream wanted to tell me something for sure,I mean I’m in Bangkok for this reason,to change,to leave the old me I didn’t like to transform it in someone I will be proud and I think the meaning of the waiting at the train station was that I did started the shift but I haven’t complete it yet so I’m not ready to get on.
Few days later talking to my friend here in Bangkok he told me about a movie about near death experience called Flatliners,we watched it,the day after a friend in Spain send me on whatsapp a story he is writing about death, souls and life where I’m one of the characters,we are all connected in this wonderful book that is life.
Among the websites I checked this one had the explanations I liked more

Dying means changing. Either the death is a good one, in which we no longer want what we wanted because some natural growth occured in us, or it is a bad death because some fear forced or coerced us into letting go of what we wanted. Your dream’s details would define the changes in you, and whether they are the good kind of change or the bad kind of change.
This issue, of changes to what we want, are a primary focus of our unconscious mind, that apsect of us the generates our freams. Our will is us, and we need to be kept up to date on significant changes to our sense of what we want, whether those changes are good or bad changes.
