Climbing the Spiritual Mountain
Mountains are symbolic in life of overcoming one’s challenges – and rising to the top and succeeding.
We all have different challenges in life to overcome that we have chosen from a spiritual level. As we overcome a challenge, we don’t have to address it again, and we can move onto bigger and better things.
This is also the nature of ascension.
Like a mountain, the journey becomes steeper and more challenging the higher you climb; but the rewards are also greater.
When you reach the peak of a mountain, you get to see things from a higher and more expansive perspective. You begin to see life the way God sees things. You see the wisdom in God’s plan, and because we are a piece of God, we are the plan.
You become the observer in life, not the helpless victim. When you reach the peak, you can take a deep sigh of relief and enjoy the expansive view of the world below.
In life, we have free choice, so we can climb the mountain at the pace we like. There is no judgment from spirit; it does not matter how many lifetimes it takes. After all, it’s the journey in life that is important, not so much the destination.
We all want and choose different things – to experience life as a spirit pretending to be human. The trouble is, we sometimes forget we are a spirit, and think we are simply a human being, but we have only chosen to experience being physical.
There are so many areas of growth that we can focus on in our lives. It would take hundreds of years to develop in all areas. There are our careers, serving our self and others. There are our relationships with our family and friends. And most importantly the relationship we have with oneself and spirit.
Many people view success in life by our status within society and our possessions. We are here to enjoy abundance but also to nurture and develop our spiritual nature. There needs to be a balance between material wealth and success and spiritual enlightenment.
There are so many distractions in the world we live in, therein lies part of the challenge.
My experience with spiritual growth hasn’t exactly been an easy journey. There have been many pitfalls along the way. You may fall off a cliff and tumble down the mountain.
The important thing is to never give up, pick yourself back up and keep on climbing.
Life on earth isn’t an easy game to play, but it also offers great learning opportunities in spiritual growth and development. You will be a wiser person having experienced the pitfalls and challenges life throws at you.
And when you come to the end of your life journey, everything will make perfect sense and you will celebrate going home, to your true home.

What does it mean to climb a mountain successfully in a dream?
Joachin Joseph, http://www.joachinjoseph.com/dreams.htmlAnswered Nov 24, 2015It is a positive note. To see yourself successfully climbing a mountain indicates you have achieved your goals and realized what to do next in your life. You have overcome all your struggles and obstacles. You have found out what is your full strength through you determination and passion.
Alternatively, We can interpret the mountain as a symbol of knowledge and spirituality. You need to compare with your waking life for better understanding.
There are certain unique and different meanings depending on what mountain you were climbing. Ex: Everest, mount lion, Mound Olympus.
This type of dream indicates that you are aware of the obstacles ahead in relation to dreams and goals, but it also shows that you know what you need to do to achieve them. This is a great dream which indicates heading into life knowing you are capable of dealing with any challenges you set for yourself and more, it shows an understanding of process, the only way to the top of the mountain is to set one’s cap and start climbing.
Alysha Isabel Meeks, Artist, mother and spiritualist living in Ontario, Canada.Answered Nov 25, 2015The thing about dreams is that we each interpret them differently, and to you this dream may have significant importance, and if I had the exact same dream, it might not. What kind of feeling so you get from the dream? Does it make you feel happy? Sad? Anxious? Inspired? YOU are the best person to answer this question, as it is your own dream.
However, to -me-, I feel this dream may signify you finally getting over a great hurdle in life. Maybe you made a breakthrough with your therapist – maybe you got a raise and can finally pay back that unpaid loan. Whatever it is, you feel better about it being over and dealt with – or you’ve risen above it. Depending on how you felt at the top, it could also signify finality, happiness, or excitement. Did you feel you were on top of the world?
It could also signify that you’ve risen spiritually. Have you finally found your faith again? Have you been meditating and found bliss? You feel good about where you are in life and have achieved what you set out to do.
To see mountains in your dream signify many major obstacles and challenges that you have to overcome. If you are on top of the mountain, then it indicates that you have achieved and realized your goals. You have recognized your full potential. Alternatively, mountains denote a higher realm of consciousness, knowledge, and spiritual truth.
To dream that you are climbing a mountain signifies your determination and ambition or you have overcome a great struggle. It also suggests that your goals are finally within reach. Climbing also means that you have risen to a level of prominence within the social or economic sphere.
your dealing with a lot of self sabotaging thoughts, in your real life, but you know its bull shit. and sometimes you come out on top. in real life, your probably getting lucky and satisfied when this happens cause one day you’ll have less resistance in your life. just gotta keep choppin away all the bull shit. idk. but i would have scary dreams and when i would succeed i saw parallels into that frame of mind thinking. so your probably climbing a mountain in your real life. google that shit and stay sweet man
